Baker vs. Carr

1. What issue was dressed in the case? In Tennesse, urban areas has increased in population and the State hasn't changed the number of legislators for each county that has increased.
2. A law was passed to make each state update redistricting every 10 years, and Tennesse has failed to do so since 1901.
3. The case presented a political question which the court wouldn't hear the case.
4. The federal court refused to hear a case over State districting, which sent the case off to the supreme court.
5. In the end, it was a land slide that the Supreme court allows federal courts the power to determine State voting rights.
6. The federal court is now hearing more cases similiar to Baker vs Carr.
7. I do agree with the court decision, the federal court should deal with kind of hearings.
